Tierra Anderson-Williams (she/her) supports the BEDS Lab as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College and Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Science with a concentration in Biochemical and Pharmacological Principles from Drexel University. Tierra is interested in the constantly evolving field of medicine and medical research with a strong passion to see the field of medicine help individuals who don’t know how to advocate for themselves and/or don’t have access to quality healthcare. Her favorite activities outside of work include spending time with her family and taking walks outside.

Talia Cordova (she/her) is a Research Assistant within the Behavior, Emotion, Development and Sleep (BEDS) Lab at The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health. Talia attended the University of Oregon, where she earned a B.A. In Family and Human Services with a Minor in Philosophy. Her undergraduate research focused on the development of culturally and religiously adapted parenting interventions that seek to enhance understanding and acceptance of LGBTQ+ youth. Talia is interested in multi-systemic approaches to ameliorating child and family behavioral health inequities. Talia hopes to pursue a career in implementation and dissemination science. In her free time, Talia enjoys making pottery, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Brizhay Davis (she/her) is a Clinical Research Assistant within the Behavior, Emotion, Development and Sleep (BEDS) Lab at The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in May 2024. In her role at the lab, she contributes to the NIH-funded Sleep in Preschoolers Study (SIPS), which investigates socioecological factors related to sleep health disparities in early childhood. Her research interests include health equity within pediatric populations, intervention development/implementation, and the impact of caregiver-child interactions on health outcomes. In the future, Brizhay intends to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, Brizhay enjoys exploring different nature trails in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Diandra Leon (she/her) is a first-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oregon. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University, where she also worked in post-baccalaureate research roles at the Center for Children and Families. She graduated with an M.S. in Clinical Research Methodology from Fordham University in 2025. Diandra is interested in understanding how ecological mechanisms impact sleep health in youth and how sleep then influences functioning and psychosocial outcomes, with emphasis on its bidirectional relationship with disruptive behaviors. She is also interested in how sleep interacts with physiological and psychological stress responses in youth and parents, both contributing to and resulting from sleep problems. Ultimately, her goal is to design and adapt culturally sensitive assessments and interventions to reduce disparities in pediatric sleep and behavioral health. Outside the lab, Diandra enjoys reading, exploring new places and coffee shops, and spending time with her loved ones and cat.

Aubrey Rossi (she/her) is a 6th year doctoral student studying clinical psychology at the University of Oregon. She earned her BA in psychology from UC Berkeley where she worked for 3 years in UC Berkeley’s Center for Human Sleep Science. In addition to the BEDS lab, she is also an active member of Dr. Melynda Casement’s Oregon Sleep Lab. Her current research focuses on the relationship between sleep health, circadian rhythm, and executive functioning during developmental transition periods. In addition to her research, Aubrey enjoys video games, fantasy novels, kayaking, baking, and eating delicious food that has been made by someone else.
